Aerodynamics

Aerodynamics is what we call the motion of an object in a fluid like air. When an object moves in air it experiences some drag from the surrounding air which pulls the object backwards like friction.

Aerofoil

Aerofoil is a shape which gives lift to an object. It is a curved type of object with curved surfaces.

In an aerofoil, the speed of air is fast whereas the speed of air is slow in the lower surfaces which develops high pressure giving lift in flight.

The image below shows the movement of air through an aerofoil shape.
